It has passed more than 20 years since the last renovation of Menlo Park Mall, what is a really long time in these days when is required to follow actual trends. Therefore Simon Property Group, the owner of Menlo Park Mall, has decided that invests a lot to the renovation and gives it a new, modern and innovative design.
Even if the shopping behavior of customers has been changed in recent years and many of them shop rather over the Internet, shopping malls are still irreplaceable. They offer customers an added value in the form of restaurants where people can sit with friends, or cinema, which is perfect for relaxing after a day full of shopping.
What is the aim of the renovation? A satisfaction of customers
In order to becoming a modern shopping mall which will offer, besides shopping, entertainment for the whole family and for all generations, the renovation of Menlo Park Mall will comprise the replacement of carpets by new ones, repair of the central elevators and placing of new comfortable sofas. Also the mayor of Edison, Thomas Lankey, considers them important – according to him, these sofas will contribute to the greater comfort of customers and will increase the popularity of this one of the most popular shopping malls in the state.
In the shopping mall will also be created a special court area which should be designed as a place for gathering customers and at the same time there will be an opportunity to recharge a mobile phone using newly installed chargers. Local food court will change its name to "dining pavilion."
During the renovation, which should begin in early April, no stores in shopping mall will be negative influenced by it. The planned finishing of the renovation is set at the end of November, so everything will be perfectly ready for Christmas.
