In the spirit of discounts actually carries the entire period from Thanksgiving, after which immediately follows Black Friday - the unofficial holiday of shopaholics. It starts the Christmas shopping mania, in which the goods prices are reduced even tens of percent. Discounts not culminate directly during the Christmas holidays, but a few days later. The most significant discounts are during New Year's Eve, when many shops closing minute before midnight. Curiously enough, even at that time are these shopping centres full of people who prefer to go shopping than to celebrate the New Year. But there are also such stores that offer discounts even after the New Year, usually to January 2.

It would seem that remarkable discounts during the end of the year are applied only to common goods in the supermarkets, but it isn´t true. Very often offer significant discounts as well as car dealers, whose goal is to exploit the end of the year to sell the maximum number of cars and get maximum commission.
A lot of people have become accustomed at the post-Christmas discounts associated with the arrival of the New Year. So they buy a part of Christmas presents just in this period.
